Although many dealerships have enough inventory such as Ford Dealer PA, some dealers have reported not having enough of certain models, and the shortages may have resulted in less sales. Used Ford models can be purchased from a Bradenton used car dealer and there are many used models to choose from, but some of those interested in buying new Ford models from a Ford Joliet or other dealership have had problems finding certain models. Sales for Ford in April rose 13 percent compared to 2010.

Ford posted double digit sales gains in several key markets including SUVs, pickups, and crossovers. Ford has also exceeded its sales goals for the month of April. Still, sales might have been even higher with better inventories throughout the country. Dealers might have sold more models if they had more availability of certain products. With gas prices increasing quickly over the past few months, there have been more sales of small vehicles and fuel efficient vehicles. Ford’s new Focus model is in high demand and has been in short supply throughout the nation. Ford is still increasing production of the Focus at the moment and that is one of the reasons why there have been shortages.

April was the first month that the Focus was available but dealers have been selling the Focus very quickly, in some cases as soon as the Focus comes off of the stocking truck. Ford said that they are restocking as fast as possible. Ford had 500 Focus models available at the start of April with 4,000 in transit and 17,000 in total were sold in April. 12,000 of the Focus models that were sold were the 2012 model while 5,000 were the 2011 Focus model. The Focus was redesigned for the 2012 model year with several new additions and features. Ford will provide more Focus models to its dealers.

Ford is planning on bringing its top-of-the-line Titanium package, which is very popular in Europe, to North America on the Ford Flex large crossover and Ford Focus compact car. This could be an indication that Ford may add similar packages to more of its U.S. vehicles in the future. In Europe, Ford began offering a decked-out Titanium package with the Ford Focus about six years ago and now offers it on all of its nameplates.

Doug Henry Ford dealers are sure that since the Titanium has been so popular in Europe that it’ll be pretty popular here. The Titanium package will be offered on the Focus when it goes on sale in early 2011 and it will will begin on the Flex in the fall of 2010.

Ford said the Flex Titanium which will be sold at many places including a Cincinnati Ford dealer will feature four exterior color choices: Red candy, white platinum, tuxedo black and ingot silver. All are paired with a black two-tone roof and a unique black chrome finish grille. Inside, the Flex Titanium comes with charcoal black leather-trimmed seats, painted alloy metallic finish on the center stack and a perforated leather steering wheel.

The Titanium package adds $2,495 to the price of the Flex Limited Edition, bringing it to $43,340 or more, depending on other options selected, a move that also fits with Ford’s strategy to increase transaction prices, and, consequently, profits.

The new Cincinnati Ford Focus coupe is due to make its debut in the American market in 2011. The artist’s renderings available thus far show a small, sleek, aggressive looking three door coupe with radically swept back headlights and a large throaty front grill. The deeply swept back windshield connects in a graceful curve to the top of the car.

The back end tucks neatly behind the rear wheels and the back lights are set in a position that will get the following driver’s attention during braking. The molded doors are characterized by aggressively designed insets. For those that enjoy some real get up and go, we may see the ST and RS coupe performance versions soon after the first appearance.

The four door sedan version is a bit tamer looking, not sporting the aggressive door styling nor the radically swept back look. It is still a good looking little sedan that is likely to be popular with the consumer sector that wants a nice looking small, fuel efficient vehicle that is easy and fun to drive and is cost conscious.
