The 2011 Ford Explorer is one of Ford’s most produced vehicle, and you can find it at great dealerships like Kingston Ford Dealers. You can find this Ford classic out on the roads all the time. This vehicle has not really changed over the years, and that has lead to a down ward trend in sales. However, for 2011 Ford Motors has completely remade this classic vehicle into something completely new, and you can find this Ford vehicle, and many other amazing vehicles at dealerships like Ford Dealership Syracuse and Ford Dealership Marietta.

This Ford vehicle does not share that mean features or looks with last years model other then the name. In fact the truck like appearance has been changed to offer a curvy and sleeker look much like the Ford Flex. This Ford vehicle is also sporting a new interior then before. This 2011 SUV has completely changed for the new year.

The 2011 Explorer now features many new high tech toys, but the reviews are praising the much improved room for the passengers and driver a like. This new Ford is sporting more leg room, and a much more modern interior. However, there is one down side to this all new Ford. The towing capacity is shot due to the lack or raw motor power. This Ford vehicle is no longer meant for the working class.

With a sleeker look, and an upgraded interior Ford Motor Company is expecting to see sales rise. Just keep in mind this vehicle is no longer meant for the working class, but it is perfect for any size family. Even with all those extra features this Ford’s base price is right around 28,000. However, this Ford might break your bank on gas mileage with 17 city and 25 Hwy MPG.

Make sure you check out all of your options before you buy any where, and if an SUV is not for you make sure you check out other vehicles. You can find every vehicle you need form luxury to family vehicles at any Ford dealership, and while you are there make sure you ask to see the all new 2011 vehicle line up.

With the increasing sales of models like the Edge and Escape over at Ford Dealership TN, the Blue Oval realized that their original SUV might need some improvements if it wants to remain a viable option in the production line up. New and improved for 2011 is the Ford Explorer; you can probably take one for a test drive if you stop by Ford Dealership Virginia, and we are willing to bet that you will not be disappointed with your experience. While the Ford Explorer used to be the go-to vehicle when it came to off-road capabilities, Ford is taking a chance and expanding the resume of the Explorer to include family friendly features and improved fuel economy. We hope that these improvements don’t backfire for Ford Marietta and drive more shoppers over to Jeep to check out the competition available from the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The 2011 model year will be the first time ever that Ford makes the Explorer on a car based platform rather than a traditional truck chassis. Drivers will find themselves presented with a 3.5 liter V6 that puts out 290 horsepower and is rated to tow 5,000 pounds. However, the older Explorer equipped with a V8 could tow 7,115 pounds, so some buyers might be seeking other options. According to Ford surveys of customer satisfaction, 5,000 pounds is plenty good enough for 80% of their market.

The larger Ford Explorer is able to seat seven passengers and features three rows of seating. Now that there is no longer a minivan in their lineup and the sales of the Ford Flex have been declining, Ford had to design a vehicle with three rows. Fuel economy has been increased to an average of 20 mpg, which is amazing for a full size SUV. Plus, drivers are really going to love the fact that the price of the 2011 Ford Explorer is actually lower than the 2010 model!

The 2011 Ford Explorer will be Ford’s first demonstration of massive changes to the Explorer in an attempt to compete in the domestic SUV market. Ford is attempting to claw its way back up to the top of the rankings in SUV sales, a title it once held in the 90s. At the moment, the Explorer ranks 13th in domestic SUV sales. This fall, Ford will begin selling a revamped 2011 Explorer that features several new additions and a very different look and a fuel efficiency that is more like a Chevy Malibu rather than a F-150. Other domestic SUV models have fared much better than the explorer such as the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe Hybrid, whose replacements parts can be found at this Port Charlotte Chevy Parts store.

Ford has struggled with public perceptions of the Explorer as being a gas guzzler, truck-like, and fuel inefficient. The redesign to the 2011 Explorer is intended to address that with a lighter weight, greater fuel efficiency, and a sleeker and sportier design. Major improvements include a chassis switch to the Taurus’s chassis, which is far lighter than the previous heavy pickup frame. The shape of the new Explorer is also much more aerodynamic, which helps with the fuel economy. Also, a very light turbocharged 4 cylinder 2 liter motor will greatly reduce the weight of the new Explorer.

The question still remains whether the redesigns are a good idea for Ford, or whether they will be enough to catapult the Explorer into the top 10 for domestic SUV sales. However, it is certain that some type of change needed to be made in order to boost slacking sales for the Explorer. Although popularity of SUVs overall took a hit in 2007 when gas prices rose to $3 per gallon and higher, SUVs sales have quickly bounced back. SUVs now account for 30% of domestic automobiles sales every year with 3.5 million vehicles sold each year.

The very well known Ford Explorer has had its ups-and-downs both in economy, reputation, and sometimes even style. Yet it has still stuck by the Ford name and now it seems Ford is now complimenting its loyalty by giving it what seems to be, to most, an entire makeover–both inside and out. In return they expect it to be spread throughout Beechmont Ford, and other Ford dealerships so that they can give other Greenville Chevy Dealers a run for their money on the automotive consumer market.

Starting with the exterior of the car it seems to be far-reaching towards ecological-friendly users who are looking for more of the green in the car, then caring about the underlying classic Ford Explorer of the car. Then once you get to the interior of the car you start to realize that the all-new Ford Explorer hardly seems as if it’s an Explorer at all. Instead, you find yourself wondering if you’re sitting in one of the new modern-day technological gadget-ridden cars instead of a classic Ford Explorer that automotive consumers have grown to love over the years.

With the Ford Explorer you think simplicity, reliability, accountability. With the newer 2011 Ford Explorer you find yourself taken to a whole new customizable world where the internet, radio stations, and many other technological devices become accessible at your finger-tips with the simple touch of a button. For some, this is a great all-new experience to be treasured and appreciated–others however may be left feeling betrayed and sold out.

Is the 2011 Ford Explorer going to be the care for you? Go find out today!

The Ford Explorer is a relatively well-known affordable mid-sized SUV that has gained a modest-type of popularity among consumers. While the Ford Explorer has had its own success at Cincinnati Ford Dealers, but it seems it gets left in the shadow after people lay their eyes on F-150’s or the Ford Escape. While the Ford Explorer has not knocked anyone off their feet, it has provided for the consumer in the most conservative ways it possibly can through its excellent off-road capabilities and good towing capability, smooth transmission contribute for a comfortable ride, and plenty of passenger and cargo room.

However, on the down-side to this vehicle the exterior does suffer from indistinct styling, the heavy steering distracts from overall performance, and the sub-par fuel performance does not do a lot to persuade car-buyers into investing in one. Yet aside from these daunting negatives there still is a productive, and safety-fit vehicle that will bring some consumer joy with its seven-passenger seating and a power-folding third-row seat for convenience and added cargo space.

Thinking of checking one out? Go take one for a test-drive today!
