Already boasting best towing capability, biggest payload in it’s class and a myriad of functional innovations available nowhere else, the Ford F-150 is the only full-size truck to earn a 5-Star crash-test rating in both frontal and side crash tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The F-150 is also the 2009 Motor Trend Truck of the Year for the 6th consecutive year, and it’s predicted to have the best residual value for the 2009 model year, earning the Residual Value Award form the Auto Leasing Guide (ALG). The California-based consulting and data-gathering firm predicts the 2009 F-150 will retain the highest percentage of its original price among 2009 full-size light-duty pick ups at the end of a conventional 3-year lease term. “F-150’s projected resale value is a reflection of the quality, durability, product attributes and value that were designed into the truck from the beginning.” says John Felice, General Manager, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Marketing.
And, that’s not all. The editors of Popular Mechanics spend months evaluating new vehicles under a wide range of conditions: muddy trails, two-lane roads and paved race tracks in locations around the world. After all was said and done, they awarded the magazines Automotive Excellence Award to, you guessed it, the 2009 Ford F-150. “The F-150 should remain just ahead of the pack” the editors said.
“More” is something you can get used to with the F-150…more capability, more innovations, more safety…and now, more awards! The more you learn about the Ford F-150, the better you’ll like it. Learn more today at Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati your Cincinnati Ford dealer
