The 2009 Cincinnati Ford Focus carries on the Focus family tradition of being an outrageously popular vehicle not only here but around the world. With it’s tall and somewhat narrow stature, you wouldn’t classify the Focus as a sporty car, but that wasn’t necessarily the market it was intended to attract either. So the car has some ‘sporty’ features, but it’s not a sporty car. It’s an unassuming daily driver or grocery getter that offers satisfactory comfort and reliability.
Style of the interior? Well, I don’t know if you would use style to describe it. The interior is ruled by painted plastic, For its size, the dashboard seems massive and a bit akward. The gauges are not well placed or very pleasing to the eye, they just get the job done. The other plastic features of the car appear to be cheaply carried off and would not stand up to a lot of use. There is nothing about the inside that is meant to or will impress the car enthusiast.
Equipped with a five speed manual transmission and an engine that puts out 140 horsepower, you can’t expect to race anyone and win, but the Focus is capable of passing with some urging and the exhaust system emits a surprisingly throatly little growl throughout its rev range due to a sport tuned exhaust.
This little car isn’t going to raise any roofs, but if you’re looking for an inexpesive small fuel efficient car for around town, this car may peak your interest. Check one out today at Beechmont Ford or another Ohio Ford dealer.
