The use of driver’s awareness is not the forefront of everyone’s top issues but it is with Ford.  The Blue Oval believes in safety and knows keeping another eye on the driver is one step into saving lives one at a time.  The people at Ford Dealership St. Paul or Ford Dealership NJ, could not agree more, this is going to change things.  It could even prevent an accident from happening, if such driver does have a heart attack.  Ford is not done with talking about monitoring the driver for health issues.  Ford has expressed a monitoring system through the Sync that could assist you with Asthma or Diabetes.  Technology that can monitor the breathing or your sugar/insulin levels.

All this good news for the people that have health conditions that they feel sometimes jump in the way of everyday life.  Ford has yet to master the exact product and says there is still a lot of work to be done.  this type of system will not be found right away at used car dealers Bradenton.    They stated that 90 to 95% of testers were compatible with the system.  So, their system was able to monitor the consumer’s pulse with noting it was 98% of the time accurate when the driver was behind the wheel of the vehicle.  This is where innovation meets needs of everyday consumers just trying to live normal lives.  Ford taking one step at a time assisting the ones they value the most….the consumers.

Although many dealerships have enough inventory such as Ford Dealer PA, some dealers have reported not having enough of certain models, and the shortages may have resulted in less sales. Used Ford models can be purchased from a Bradenton used car dealer and there are many used models to choose from, but some of those interested in buying new Ford models from a Ford Joliet or other dealership have had problems finding certain models. Sales for Ford in April rose 13 percent compared to 2010.

Ford posted double digit sales gains in several key markets including SUVs, pickups, and crossovers. Ford has also exceeded its sales goals for the month of April. Still, sales might have been even higher with better inventories throughout the country. Dealers might have sold more models if they had more availability of certain products. With gas prices increasing quickly over the past few months, there have been more sales of small vehicles and fuel efficient vehicles. Ford’s new Focus model is in high demand and has been in short supply throughout the nation. Ford is still increasing production of the Focus at the moment and that is one of the reasons why there have been shortages.

April was the first month that the Focus was available but dealers have been selling the Focus very quickly, in some cases as soon as the Focus comes off of the stocking truck. Ford said that they are restocking as fast as possible. Ford had 500 Focus models available at the start of April with 4,000 in transit and 17,000 in total were sold in April. 12,000 of the Focus models that were sold were the 2012 model while 5,000 were the 2011 Focus model. The Focus was redesigned for the 2012 model year with several new additions and features. Ford will provide more Focus models to its dealers.

Mississippi Ford Dealership is now carrying the new, 2011 Ford Edge.  It was ranked number 8 out of 23 Affordable Midsize SUVs.  The Edge comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that creates 285 horsepower.  It is paired with a six speed automatic transmission.  Sometime this year, Ford is going to add a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four cylinder engine to it’s lineup.  It will include a specialized six speed transmission and should improve fuel economy.

The Edge, from Edmonton Ford Dealership, comes with a pretty basic protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and a five year or 60,000 mile powertrain warranty.  The 2011 model has yet to be tested, but the 2010 model, which can be found at Winslow Ford Dealership, did very well on all crash tests.  They received five stars for protecting occupants in all outboard seating positions in side impact crash tests, five stars for driver protection in frontal crashes and four stars for passenger protection.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2010 model it’s highest ranking of “Good” in frontal, side-impact and rear crash protection.

Ford has also installed a long list of safety features in the Edge as well.  Some of them include; dual-staged front airbags, front seat mounted side impact airbags and side curtain airbags.  It also comes standard with four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes and Advance Trac with Roll Stability control.  Power side View Blind Spot mirrors help the driver see while moving through traffic.  There is also a SOS Post Crash Alert System.  This system flashes the hazard lights and sound the horn in the event of an accident.  There is a new Blind Spot Information System, which alerts the driver with an indicator light when a vehicle is detected entering the “blind spot zone”.  It also has a cross-traffic alert feature which uses blind spot monitoring sensors to audibly and visually alert the driver to approaching traffic while they are backing out of a driveway or parking spot.  MyFord Touch interface replaces the traditional button controls with touchscreens and a five-way controller.  It includes touch sensitive sliders for the stereo volume and fan speed.

There are a lot of nice features and extras that Ford has installed into the Edge.  Ford usually goes above and beyond with safety features and new technology and they sure didn’t slack on any with this vehicle.  Go to you local Ford dealership and test drive one.  I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

The new 2011 Ford Mustang, which can be purchased at Minnesota Ford Dealers, was ranked number 1 out of 4 Muscle Cars.  The Mustang has a new engine, a 3.7 liter V6 that generates 305 horsepower at 6,500 rpm. and 280 pound feet of torque at 4,250.  A six speed manual transmission comes standard but an automatic is available.

The Mustang from Ford Dealers AL, comes with a pretty basic protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and powertrain and roadside assistance is offered for five year or 60,000 mile warranty.  The Ford Mustang which can also be purchased at Ford Salinas, received high rankings on all crash tests.  They received five stars in front and side impacts as well as rollover tests.  The Mustang is also equipped with many safety features.  Some of them include; dual stage front airbags, front seat side airbags, all speed traction control and Advancetrac Electronic Stability Control.  This vehicle also features MyKey.  MyKey is a system that was designed to help parents promote safe driving habits in their teens.  The MyKey system does a number of things.  Some include; limit top speed to 80 mph, disable the audio system when seat belts are not being used and it will also sound a persistent chime when the vehicle reaches 45, 55, and 65 mph.

Another Muscle Car to check out would be the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro.  The Camaro was ranked number 2 out of 4.  The Camaro LS, 1LT, and 2LT feature a 3.6 liter V6 engine that generates 312 horsepower and 6,400 rpm and 278 pound feet of torque at 5,200 rpm. 

The Camaro comes with a pretty nice protection package.  It includes; three years or 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and powertrain, roadside assistance and courtesy transportation are covered by five years or 100,000 miles.  The Camaro also did very well on crash tests.  They received four stars in frontal impact, five stars for driver side crashes and five stars for rollover ratings.  It also comes equipped with alot of safety features.  Some include; dual stage front and side impacts airbags for front seat occupants and head curtain side impact airbags for all passenger.  Not to mention four wheel anti-lock brakes and stabilitrak electronic stability control with traction.

Both of these vehicles are nice vehicle to own.  However, Ford out does Chevrolet just in safety features alone.  You really can not beat the MyKey feature.  It is designed to keep your teenagers safe while you are not in the vehicle.  It is definatly a nice piece of mind during a stressful time.
