The use of driver’s awareness is not the forefront of everyone’s top issues but it is with Ford.  The Blue Oval believes in safety and knows keeping another eye on the driver is one step into saving lives one at a time.  The people at Ford Dealership St. Paul or Ford Dealership NJ, could not agree more, this is going to change things.  It could even prevent an accident from happening, if such driver does have a heart attack.  Ford is not done with talking about monitoring the driver for health issues.  Ford has expressed a monitoring system through the Sync that could assist you with Asthma or Diabetes.  Technology that can monitor the breathing or your sugar/insulin levels.

All this good news for the people that have health conditions that they feel sometimes jump in the way of everyday life.  Ford has yet to master the exact product and says there is still a lot of work to be done.  this type of system will not be found right away at used car dealers Bradenton.    They stated that 90 to 95% of testers were compatible with the system.  So, their system was able to monitor the consumer’s pulse with noting it was 98% of the time accurate when the driver was behind the wheel of the vehicle.  This is where innovation meets needs of everyday consumers just trying to live normal lives.  Ford taking one step at a time assisting the ones they value the most….the consumers.

1961 was the year that the production of the Ford Econoline Van started. It was manufactured to be a full size van and it was mounted and crafted using the FR VN platform. This line of full size vans were made for both cargo and passenger transportation. Still, when the models are similar enough in development, yet very different in price, the question to be asked about the more expensive car is this: is it worth the premium? Both the Ford Fusion and Lincoln Zephyr share the same platform along with the Mercury Milan. The base price differential for the two models is nearly ten thousand dollars, quite a big difference for the two cars. Is the Zephyr overpriced? Or, is the Fusion that much more of a better buy? Or, perhaps the answer lies somewhere in between. Let’s check out the two cars and see how they compare.  Dickinson Ford Dealership does sell more of the Ford Fusions than the Lincoln Zephyrs.

The Ford Fusion is a welcome addition to the Ford line up as the venerable but aging Taurus leaves the fleet. Along with the full size Five Hundred sedan and the Freestyle crossover vehicle, these new models are part of the overhaul changes put in place by Ford to get the brand moving again.

Ford tapped its relationship with Mazda to build the Fusion. Borrowing the well regarded Mazda 6 platform, the Fusion, Zephyr, and Milan all share the same platform and many of the components. As mentioned earlier, the Lincoln Zephyr is priced nearly ten thousand dollars more than the Fusion.  Vermont Ford Dealership can show you all the gadgets to make up the cost difference, but one wonders.

So, what are the differences between the Fusion and Zephyr? Unfortunately, not that much. Both cars come equipped with a 3.0L Duratec V6 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. In each model the engine produces the same 221 h.p. and the same performance results are achieved. This isn’t bad, but it is disappointing that Ford engineers did not tweak the Zephyr enough to distinguish it from its more pedestrian sibling.  While under the hood differences are not present, there are some differences in the ride. As typical with all Lincoln products, the Zephyr’s suspension system is tuned for a gentler, more luxurious feel. According to Lincoln, the steering has also been modified to give it a above average assist.

Next, the interior has been upgraded to include real walnut trim, a modified dashboard with sport display, and plush front bucket seats. The exterior possesses the ubiquitous big Lincoln grille as well as larger than life tail lights and keyless entry.  The Zephyr also offers a broader standard equipment list than the Ford, including a premium sound system, power heated front seats, and traction control. Still, a the top of the line Fusion SEL offers similar equipment options for a much lower price.

Ultimately, what it comes down to for potential buyers is this: would you be satisfied with a fully loaded Fusion SEL or are you willing to pay a premium for the Lincoln with a more luxurious trim level and a softer ride? A judgment call that only you can make despite the huge price differences between models.  Granger Ford has a selection next to none, if you want to check each of the models out yourself.

Cincinnati Ford and Goldsboro Ford dealers are anticipating the arrival of this splash of fun to their inventory.   Supposedly this spring Ford is releasing the Ford Fiesta with the hatchback or sedan.  Ford has definitely impressed consumers with all the new or improvements in their vehicle fleet.  This Fiesta has 1.6L twin independent variable cam timing when paired with the six speed automatic transmission, it gets awesome fuel mileage.  Its power assisted steering and the class exclusive Hill Start Assist, to give the driver confidence and control.  Between the variable cam timing and the six speed automatic transmission, its suppose to deliver the best fuel economy in its class, 30 city/40 highway.  That is a set of impressive numbers.

Inside the Fiesta, they have a multi function LCD screen and cell phone inspired center console, enabling the driver to have less distractions.  The Sync in car connectivity and intelligent access with push button start are two options in the Fiesta.  The lighting is soothing with the ambient lighting at your feet in the front and the back.  The cupholders light up to make it more accessible in finding at night.  Fiesta gives you the choice of seven colors, allowing you to choose whatever you may.  It will be the new little fast car.  It is available in the sedan or hatchback and the hatchback does give more cargo room.

The Ford fiesta is definitely eye catching and desirable to have with the fuel economy.  Its sleek design and new handling is what Ford needed in the subcompact car competition.  Ford has rolled out yet another set of wheels that compete outstandingly.

The better model of the Ford Fusion is of course, the sport.  Its was stamped with the 263 Horsepower, 3.5 L Duratec, joined with a Select Shift six speed automatic.  This transmission is full manual control and super tuned suspension.  The dual exhausts, front and rear fascia treatments, rocker panels and the rear wing.  This Sport does have the same EPA rating as the 3.0L although it does not have the flex fuel engine.  This option is awesome for the consumers that need a family car but want something with a little spunk.

The fuel economy on the standard is 23 city/34 highway, now the Hybrid is an awesome 41 city/36 highway and the sport model is 18 city/27 highway.  Now either model has a reasonable fuel economy, being the Hybrid is the best, but even the sport model has fuel economy in mind.  Either choice on this Fusion, its not going to put a dent into your wallet.

Ford has made news today with the Ford Mustang being fuel efficient.  How sweet is that?  For all the Mustang lovers not only is this hot rod sweet looking, its definitely conscious of fuel and our wallets.  Ford has broke the records of the most fuel efficient Mustang ever but the first car to rock more than 300 horsepower with more than 30 mpg highway certified by the EPA.  That’s right, you read it correctly, the official EPA rating for the 2011 Ford Mustang with 305 horsepower 3.7L V6 and available six-speed automatic transmission is rated 31 mpg highway and 19 mpg city.  Now the standard six-speed automatic is rated 29 mpg highway and 19 mpg city.

The Ford Mustang is powered by a lightweight, all aluminum 3.7L dual overhead cam V6 that was designed to use advanced engineering to deliver power and fuel economy.  The Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing adjusts the valvetrain in microseconds depending on the driving of the driver, even giving more of an engine efficiency.  This depicts wisdom from the Ford engineering team that sets the standard.  They carefully designed a six speed automatic transmission with precisely calibrated gear ratios and shift programs to maximize that the economy to still deliver the driving of high horsepower.

The engine was not the only improvement that Ford made for this Mustang, powertrain and the chassis design also contributes for exciting record breaking event.  The New Electric Power Assist Steering eliminates the drag on an engine operated hydraulic power steering pump, both the transmissions, six speed transmission or automatic transmission allow lower cruising revs without sacrificing off line performance.  The new front fascia, tire spats on the rear wheels, the modified underbody shields,  a taller air dam and the added rear decklid seal are the aerodynamic changes that contribute to the fuel economy also.  These Mustangs will be built in Michigan at the Auto Alliance International Plant.  This one is going fast also, Ford already has orders up to 11,000, you better get yours soon.  Be sure to check out the dealers at Cincinnati Ford and Doug Henry Ford to see this elite Mustang.
